Directions to Richland Inn:

From Western TN: Exit 148, I-40 toward Centerville on Hwy 50. Follow Hwy 50 into Centerville and turn right at STOP sign. Go approximately .5 mile and bear left onto Hwy 50 toward Columbia. Approximately 26 miles to STOP sign and turn left. At 2nd traffic light turn Right onto James Campbell Blvd. Travel 3.0 miles to Hwy 31 - Turn Right – hotel is on your immediate left past Legend’s Restaurant.

From Chattanooga: Take I-24 to TN-840W to I-65S. Follow I-65S to Exit 37 and turn Right onto Hwy 50W. Follow to 2nd traffic light and turn Left. Hotel will be on your immediate Left.

From East TN: Take I-40 to TN-840W (Exit 235) to I-65S. Follow I-65S to Exit 37 and turn Right onto Hwy 50W. Follow to 2nd traffic light and turn Left. Hotel will be on your immediate Left.

From Nashville: Follow I-65S to Exit 37 and turn Right onto Hwy 50W. Follow to 2nd traffic light and turn Left. Hotel will be on your immediate Left.

Directions to Golf Course from Richland Inn: Turn right out of hotel lot and make an immediate left onto James Campbell Blvd. Turn left at the next traffic light. Follow approximately 2.4 Miles to Stoneybrook Rd – turn left. Clubhouse is on your left.

Directions to Columbia State Campus (Meeting location) from Richland Inn: Turn right out of hotel lot and make an immediate left onto James Campbell Blvd.
Follow James Campbell Blvd to Hampshire Pike (8th traffic light) – turn left. Travel approximately 2.1 miles to Columbia State campus on your left.

Directions to Ebonite’s Galaxy Lanes from Richland Inn: Take James Campbell Blvd east for approximately .5 mile – Galaxy Lanes is on the right.

All entrants must register for the Jamboree. The registration fee is $15.00, which includes lunch.
The registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. (CST) and the meeting will be held at 9:30 a.m. (CST)
All events may be entered on one registration and events entry form.
All events may be paid for by one check payable to – Tennessee State Bowling Jamboree 2008.

Golf Rules
1. Date: July 25, 2008. This will be a 4 person scramble with a shot gun start at 9:00 a.m. (CST)
2. USGA and Stoneybrook Golf Club rules will be in effect.
3. Please report your honest average score for 18 holes and also your age.
4. Ladies will hit from the RED tees, men 65 & over will hit from the senior (GOLD) tees, and all others will hit from the regular (WHITE) tees. Lie – ball must be played within one club length of original position, no nearer the hole. This may not be used to gain relief from a hazard or out of bounds.
5. A team that has less then 4 members will use alternating shots. Alternate shots will not be used on the long drive or any “closest to the pin” holes.
6. Teams will be decided by balancing the shot average of the 4 players. In case of any ties, we will draw one hole at a time until we break the tie.
7. Longest drive must be in the fairway to be eligible to win.
8. Closest to the pin must be on the green to be eligible to win.
9. There will be a maximum of 72 golfers permitted to participate, based on date the entry is received. Out of town players will be given first consideration.

Bowling Rules
1. Certification: All entrants must hold a current season USBC Certification Card.
2. Average: The entering average will be as follows: Highest average of 21 or more games from the 2007-08 season or current average as of July 10, 2008. All others must use 220. USBC rules 310A (entry closing), 319A Item 2 (10 pin rule), 319D (report prize winnings), and 319E (bowler responsibility for records) shall not apply. Rule 319A Items 1, 3, 4 & 5 will apply.
3. Handicap: Handicap will be 100% of the difference of 220 and the bowlers’ average.
4. Eligibility: Only those registered to attend the Jamboree on Saturday are eligible to participate in either tournament, including substitutes.
5. Fees: Entry Fee is $15.00 per person per event in both the Team & Mixed Doubles Events. ($7.50 Prize Fund, and $7.50 Lineage)
6. Time of Bowling: There will be one squad on Friday at 6:30 p.m. (CST) for the Team Event. There will be one squad on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. (CST) for the Mixed Doubles Event.
7. Prizes: One prize paid for each five entries in each event. All Prize Fees will be returned 100%.
8. Awards: Awards will be given to the male and female for high individual scratch and handicap series and game. The same individual can not win both scratch and handicap awards.
9. Events: Doubles pairings will be made by blind draw and will consist of 1 male and 1 female, but may consist of 2 females or 2 males, if necessary. Team Event – Teams will consist of five (5) members, with a minimum of two (2) men and two (2) women per team.
10. Each event will consist of three (3) games bowled on the same pair of lanes.
11. Deadline: Entries close on July 10, 2008.
12. The tournament Director shall settle any disputes in interpretation of USBC rules.
13. USBC Rules will govern both tournaments in case of any disputes.
